Gary Ridgway, better known as the Green River Killer, is the second most prolific serial killer in American history.
Mawson was good for Ridgway. In an interview with author Pennie Morehead, Ridgway said that his relationship with his third wife reduced his desire to kill. He was truly in love with her and felt less of a need to find sexual satisfaction elsewhere.
