Randall Brent Woodfield was a ladies’ man in the 1970s. He was a young, handsome guy with an athletic physique. He took pride in his looks and always groomed himself to give the best impression. He came from a prominent, well-known, and respected middle-class Newport family.
In 1974, Woodfield was a popular football star in high school who played as a wide receiver for the Portland State Vikings. Later he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers NFL team. He was in the door of a prosperous career. Little did he know back then that his name won’t be remembered as an iconic NFL star, but as one of the most gruesome serial killers in the history of America: The I-5 Killer.
