Shanti Devi was an Indian woman who was the subject of one of the most extensively documented and renowned cases of reincarnation in human history.
Her remarkable claim of reincarnation from Ancient Egypt
Even at the tender age of four, Shanti Devi began recounting stories of her past existence as a regal pharaoh's wife. She was able to describe the Egyptian royal court with stunning details, her regal blue robes adorned with gold, her lavish palace, and even the pyramid — her eternal resting place following her death. What made these accounts remarkable was not just the chronicle itself but her apparent familiarity with Ancient Egyptian language and customs, something practically unheard of in the isolated and educationally sparse habitat of early 20th-century Delhi.
