On December 1, 1949—the exact date of Weldon’s disappearance, three years later, Tedford vanished during his bus journey to Bennington. Bizarrely, even though his luggage and timetable remained seated on the bus, Tedford had vanished into thin air.
A year later, on October 12, 1950, it was eight-year-old Paul Jepson's turn to vanish mysteriously in the Bennington Triangle. He had been playing around in his mother's truck before he suddenly disappeared. The intense search that ensued led to no results.
Finally, there was the baffling case of Frieda Langer. On October 28, 1950, Langer and her cousin set out for a hike near the Somerset Reservoir, within the Bennington Triangle. Langer slipped into a stream and went back to her campsite to change her clothes. However, she never returned. Despite multiple organised searches, she was not found until half a year later when her decaying body was discovered in an open area that had been searched extensively. The cause of her death could not be determined due to the condition of her remains.
These mysterious disappearances led to numerous theories ranging from alien abductions to dimensions gateways and cryptids. However, no prevalent evidence supports any theory conclusively.
