Brahan Seer, Scotland’s own ‘Nostradamus'
Scotland has its very own version of Nostradamus in the form of Brahan Seer, a legendary prophet who is said to have predicted many significant events in Scottish history.

The flooding of Loch Ussie

The Eagle Stone, a revered Celtic monument, graces the landscape of Strathpeffer, Ross-shire. According to the Seer's prophecy, if the stone were to topple thrice, Loch Ussie would inundate the valley beneath, paving the way for ships to dock at Strathpeffer. Alas, the stone has already fallen twice, and as a precautionary measure, it has been firmly secured in concrete.
