Scotland has its very own version of Nostradamus in the form of Brahan Seer, a legendary prophet who is said to have predicted many significant events in Scottish history.
The Airship and the Church Spire
In 1932, his prophecy came to fruition when an airship, in dire need of a landing spot, made an emergency descent and was securely moored to the very spire of the newly erected church. The Brahan Seer's words had been fulfilled, proving his remarkable abilities as a seer and leaving those who witnessed the event in awe.
