Step inside "The Shining hotel," the Colorado resort that inspired Stephen King's horror classic, and uncover its eerie past and thrilling present.
Famed businessman/inventor Freelan Oscar (F.O.) Stanley finished construction on the hotel in 1909. When his trip to Estes Park, Colorado did just that, Stanley fell in love with the area and vowed to return each summer.
